GRADE AVAILABILITY

  • Our greatest number of openings are always in PreK3, PreK4, and Kindergarten as these are our entrance years.

AGE ELIGIBILITY

  • PreK3 applicants- birthdates between July 2023 and June 2024.
  • PreK4 applicants- birthdates between July 2022 and June 2023.
  • Kindergarten applicants- birthdates between July 2021 and June 2022.

Adam J. Lewis Academy follows the above age cutoff policy without exception in order to make sure children are developmentally ready for our robust academic program.

Steps of the Admissions Process

  • Submit online application (link above)
  • Parent/Guardian Interview + Tour of the School
  • Student Visit 
    • 30-Minute Saturday visits for PreK3, PreK4, and Kindergarten applicants
    • ½ day School Day visits for applicants for 1st Grade and up
  • Supplemental Application Materials Requested
    • All applicants
      • Teacher recommendation form for children currently enrolled in school or daycare
    • Applicants for 1st Grade and up
      • Report Card for current year
      • Any testing results

Admissions Timeline

  • March 1st – Online Application Submissions are highly encouraged by March 1st in order to be considered in time for our first round of admissions.
  • November-March – Parent/Guardian Interview and Student Visits take place throughout the late fall and winter.
  • Late March – We aim to give families Admissions Decisions in late March.
  • If spaces become available later, we always update this website, so check back often.

Affordable Tuition for All - Making Excellence Accessible

  • 100% of AJLA students receive financial aid.
  • Financial aid is granted based on need and is completely confidential. No family will be denied admission due to an inability to pay.
  • We use an independent system called Clarity to assess financial aid after students have been admitted. Clarity collects a family’s income and expense details to determine an individualized tuition amount that is both fair and within reach.
