Christina Whittaker, Member, Board of Directors

Christina Whittaker is the Curriculum Manager at Mercy Learning Center in Bridgeport. She recently graduated with her Masters of Education Policy and Management from the Harvard Graduate School of Education. Before going back to school, Christina taught Spanish at Harding High School in Bridgeport, CT for 4 years. There, she was also the advisor for the Law Academy Student Council and the coach for the step team. She graduated from Greens Farms Academy in Westport, CT in 2008 and earned her B.A. from Dartmouth College in 2012, where she majored in Spanish and Environmental Studies.

Christina has been involved in numerous education organizations in Bridgeport since she first moved to Connecticut in 2002, including the Horizons Program at Greens Farms Academy, Let’s Get Ready, Teach For America, and Excel Bridgeport.
